is a private pediatric therapy clinic located in Bayside, New York, dedicated to enhancing children’s development and improving performance of daily life roles.

At AchieveAbility, families and therapists work together in order to help children realize their full potential, with respect to their
many “jobs”, or occupations, including play activities, school performance, self-help skills, familial roles and social interactions.
We offer TWO “one-of-a-kind” sensory gyms, featuring fun and motivating toys, games and equipment. Therapy is provided via fun, energetic, nurturing and meaningful play, where the child is an active participant, encouraged to lead the way, while the therapist’s skillful, supportive interactions aim to provide “achievable challenges”, in order to foster development, facilitate skill acquisition, and enhance self-confidence.
We are especially proud of our creative "home-made" equipment and
ingenious environmental modifications, offering the unique ability to
instantly alter the physical space and modify a multitude of sensory
components. Our therapists may minimize the physical size or design of
the space (to limit visual and auditory distractions, increase physical
boundaries, and improve self- awareness), adjust the height and
direction/ plane of motion or our swings, zipline, rockwall and slide/
ramp/ mountain, and employ other other innovations, in order to meet
every child's individual needs, as well as to provide an endless array
of novel challenges and extraordinary adventures. Our facility offers a
safe and stimulating environment for movement and exploration, as well
as opportunities for creativity, pretend play and developmentally
appropriate skill attainment. Through engagement in motivating,
multi-sensory, and increasingly complex tasks, goals are achieved in the
areas of strength, coordin
ation,
sensory processing, language, self-care, regulation, attention, safety
awareness, social interaction and self-esteem.
In addition to occupational therapy, children may also receive physical
and speech and language therapies, as well as participate in art, music,
yoga and social skill-building programs. Our elevator equipped building
makes for easy access for strollers. In addition, we have three
comfortable, sibling-friendly waiting areas for families to choose from.

We accept New York City Department of Education preschool contracts and RSA letters for school-aged children. We also provide out-of-network services, a portion of which may be covered by your health insurance company.
